Proverbs 27:5-6
Open rebuke is better,Than love carefully concealed..
I believe this is vital for spiritual growth because so many people believe that we as Men of God has to be soft spoken and always kind when we speak of a Loving God. But our God is also a God of correction. We just must do this in a loving manner.
This passage also shows Constructive Criticism which Christian shy away from. I believe we are living in era where God is calling men like ourselves out of our own shadows of spirituality to shatter worldly truth with Biblical truths.
We must expose the clicks, cliches and old comforts of Christianity and get uncomfortable with begin uncomfortable for Christ sake. This is the only way the world and our communities is going to get to see God's unfailing Grace operate in those that have failed horribly and been Redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of THEIR Testimony not how much Bible they know but what they KNOW Christ has done to and for them and is willing to do through them if they will expose His Truth which is really their truth do a dying world.
