Jesus allowed himself to be condemned on our behalf. In not defending himself He was defending us. When others reject us, Turn away from us in discussion. Jesus has given us a gift. He has shown us what it feels like to love those who refuse to love you. Jesus accepted the Cross. He was willing to suffer for us. So that he might draw us to himself. If we continue to lift him up in thought word and deed he will draw all men to himself. He will take humanity in his arms and shelter and heal it as he holds it close to his most sacred heart :-)
